Albert Hall Manchester Wedding

Stunning New Years wedding at the listed Albert hall in Manchester

This Albert Hall Manchester wedding is exactly what we all needed to kick off 2022. This Grade II listed Wesleyan chapel in Manchester City Centre is an epic piece of Manchester history (and erm…. the host of bongos bingo), I’ve been to see Explosions in the sky, Mac DeMarco & The Staves there. The guys behind Alberts Schloss resurrected this venue after 40 years of being left to decay, creating an unbelievable venue, which is also open to host wedding ceremonies and reception’s. The Albert Hall is not only an unusual Manchester wedding venue, it is one of the most atmospheric buildings in the UK, in my opinion.

Vikki + Ian had been together over 14 years when they got engaged, when they finally decided to get married they headed over to Sandinista in Manchester City Centre to celebrate, and start the planning.  Vikki started the usual conversation of venues and asked Ian where he would like to get married, without skipping a beat he said, the Albert Hall, without a doubt. Vikki laughed and said, “Ian, you can’t just pick the place you love the most!”…..sure enough a week later they discovered not only was it a wedding venue it, it was a fully licensed venue which could also hold the ceremony! Ian did most of the planning for this wedding, he was living for the creative control, right down to a bone of contention when it came to the final placement of the Mr. + Mrs. Marris signs up on the stage – they looked awesome in the end though!

It absolutely chucked it down on the day of Vikki + Ian’s wedding, leaving the Albert Hall to be a dark and moody place to be but their lighting and fantastic group of friends made the most of this incredible venue,  Check out Vikki + Ian’s gallery below.
