Jen & Tom
A stunning wedding at Hotel Royal Victoria on Lake Como but the story of how Jen and Tom booked me to capture their Italy wedding started even before I started wedding photography. Jen even recommended my first wedding back in 2010! I worked in the local pub where they met and knew them both separately.

The ceremony was in Bellagio at the Town Hall followed by a wander through the backstreets of Bellagio before boarding the ferry to Varenna for the reception.
Bellagio Lake Como Wedding
Drinks flowed on the banks of the river into the evening where Jen and Tom surprised everyone with a silent disco. Such a brilliant idea!!
We partied back in Bellagio till the small hours in a local restaurant drinking gin and feasting on fantastic local pizza!!
Jen and Tom have a few words on how they met and how Tom proposed.
Our paths crossed in our local, your old place of work, The 3 Stags on The Wirral.
I decided to ask the question during a surprise trip for Jens 30th birthday.
Having completed hours of research trying to find the perfect destination I finally decided on Bellagio, Lake Como, Italy.
On the second day of our trip and the day before Jens 30th birthday I had a day exploring the lake planned, finishing at Villa Melzi as Bellagio, which is situated with the most amazing views over the lake.
After a short walk admiring the gardens at Villa Melzi we found the perfect spot to take a few pictures or so Jen thought! So the GoPro was set up and with Jen completely unaware, enjoying the views, she turned to find me on one knee with a ring in hand!
We decided to return to the place of the proposal, Bellagio, Lake Como and found a venue which allowed our wedding party to enjoy the picturesque views over the lake from early afternoon till late at night.

Rebecca & Richard
Manchester Cathedral was opposite one of first apartments in Manchester and I always admired the architecture. So to shoot a wedding there was very exciting! The light was incredible on the day of the wedding with light streaming in through the stained glass windows making my job very easy.
Manchester Cathedral Wedding
After an epic confetti toss outside the Cathedral it was onto Great John Street. Emotional speeches and a wander around Castlefield at golden hour summed it all up and to finish the evening we had an awesome sparkler shot!! Such an ace day.

Take it away Rebecca and Richard….
We met in Black Dog Ballroom in the Northern Quarter bank holiday weekend 2013. I had my phone stolen and lost my friends on the night out, Richard was my ‘knight in shining armor’. We have been together everyday since! (I never did find out what Rich did with my phone haha)
I proposed on a beach in Mexico October 2016. I found a part of the beach that I know would be memorable to both of us. When the moment came I couldn’t get the ring out of my pocket, So I waited until Rebecca wasn’t looking at me again and just sunk to my knee. I opened the box and looked at her and I said “Rebecca will you marry me”
